Speaking Through My Eyes

Empowering inclusion through storytelling, AAC advocacy, and lived experience with disability.

Matilda on a roll

Hi, I’m Matilda—presenter, storyteller, disability advocate, and proud AAC (Augmentative Alternative Communication) eye-gaze user!

I roll through life in my wheelchair & chat with the world using my eyes.

I may be non-verbal, but trust me—I’ve got plenty to say.

Through my presentations, I share what life really looks like living with Cerebral Palsy, using assistive tech, equipment, going to therapy, school & just living my best life.

By sharing real-life insights, I aim to support therapists,

professionals, teachers, support workers & anyone that is interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the benefits and real-world impact of AAC from a lived experience perspective.

I'm passionate about presenting and proud to be a disability and accessibility advocate.

I’d love the opportunity to support your organisation and be part of creating more inclusive spaces.

  • I believe in a future where...

    Inclusion is a strength.

    Compassion is policy.

    Lived experience is leadership.
